If you're investing in 12-month CIMB Bank Malaysia term deposits, the interest rate increases to 3.00% per annum. This applies to local depositors of CIMB Bank (Tier 1).

Corporations and foreigners get a slightly lower CIMB Bank term deposit rates of 2.6% for 12-month term deposits (Tier 2).
